Once a suitable iteration of physical and mental development has been undertaken, we turn to the wilds beyond our safe and predictable civilisation to test our new found capacity.

The all-in challenge of a technical adventure provides us with a crucible to explore and build our ability to thrive in a complex and dynamic environment. 

Life is complex. We move through constantly changing environments with ever evolving considerations and often you don’t know you’re playing for keeps until you’ve already lost. Our civilized, modern world has muddied the waters of an already tough run.

That’s where the wild comes in.

You, the people around you, the environment and the laws of physics; no social conventions, no political correctness, no quotas, no special treatment, no points for trying.
Through a technical outdoor adventure, we have the opportunity to truly take responsibility for the outcome.

We set the destination, prepare for what may be encountered along the way and harness our mind to drive our body to do what needs to be done to get through and come home…or we don’t.

There are no excuses, you either make it or you don’t; weather, conditions, gravity, luck, these all become your responsibility. 
It is extraordinary. 

We use technical outdoor adventures as regular ‘reality checks’ to see where we are at mentally and physically and to remind ourselves who we are and what we are made of. We carry these lessons back into our ‘normal’ world as fuel for what’s next.

Offerings

Our adventures allow you to take ownership over your experience and put you in the driver’s seat. You choose the environment, the means, and the measures of success. Our adventure operators will partner with you to facilitate your success through the planning phase, as well as the technical conduct on the ground. 
We will ensure you have everything you need to succeed and come home in one piece, however, the steps will be yours to take.
Take responsibility for the outcome.

Level 1 - Base

The Cape to Cape Track. This trekking based adventure is on a rough coastal track running 130km along the rugged and beautiful South West Australian Coast. Most groups complete this one in 5-7 days, however, we see this one as a great way to spend a long weekend.

Level 2 - Intermediate

The Stirling Ridge Traverse. This technical 20km trek is one of the most difficult ‘walks’ in Australia and will see you traverse over the spectacular ridges of the Stirling Ranges in WA. It is a truly alpine trekking adventure. It blurs the lines between walking and climbing nicely and enjoys numerous Grade 5 sections, requiring idle hands to get involved. Most people take 3 days to complete this one, however, we see it as better served as an overnighter. This is a great option for those that have a few days and multiday adventures under their belts, a good endurance base, and don’t mind more than a few hours in the locker for some of the best true wilderness Australia has to offer.
